Hypnotherapy
What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a way of working with the natural healing power of the mind. It can be described as guided daydreaming and through this state you can experience an experience regarded as fantasy where the unconscious can safely explore many possibilities for healing and change. This twilight zone state is considered to be one which is halfway between sleep and the waking state; it is a state in which the mind is more receptive to change. During hypnosis, the focus will be on how the hidden strengths and abilities you have can be utilised in a positive way to overcome symptoms and problems.
Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state. If you have driven from A to B and got there without realising that you have passed through a village, then you have been in a trance like state. Hypnosis is purely a relaxed state of mind.

What happens during a Hypnotherapy session?
You are always in control and can easily reject any unsuitable suggestion. The depth of the hypnosis is not so important in changing habits; depth varies with each individual and will always feel very natural and comfortable. I will not make changes in you – you are responsible for your own inner healing and changes. I will use my expertise to help you access your own healing abilities.
